Ludmila Lagesson-Andrasko is originally educated as a glass artist from the oldest school of glass art in the world in the Czech republic. She came to Sweden, as a refuge in 1968, and has stayed there and worked there as an artist since then.
Her art work is characterised by being innovative and emphasised towards sculptured mirror objects, glass paintings and demanding pencil drawings in both gray scale and colour.
Special techniques for the art creation are under glass paintings and her own special method for building up wall reliefs and slanted pieces of mirrors, which reflect the surrounding light in a most fascinating and unique way.
Ludmila is also unique in having a comprehensive scientific background with studies published in highly ranked scientific journals. This very rare experience of advanced interdisciplinary knowledge has resulted in a great interest and work in the field of art and science and place her in a renaissance tradition.
